The Vision

After months of conversations and prayer, we have decided to build this space into a place of meeting and community building that is open to the public every day of the week. We are calling this place “SOS” as a direct reference to the mission of Jesus Christ to rescue this world exemplified in Psalm 34:17-18. During the day, SOS will have a coffee shop setup appropriate for one-on-one meetings, group gatherings, or for individuals to come study, work or just take some time by themselves. We will have a couple of conference style rooms that can be reserved for small group meetings, discipleship groups, Bible studies, or anything that requires a more private setting. In the evenings we will have different types of dynamics such as worship nights, prayer meetings, group studies, couples ministry, and more. On Sundays we are planning to use the space for worship services both in English and Spanish.

As a unique aspect of this project, we have also decided to make all of this completely donation based. We will not be charging any fixed amount for the reservation of the rooms, the use of the space, or even the coffee. Instead of setting prices we will let each individual or group make a donation to SOS as they are moved to do so.
